MTI Head Joint Weep™ (#HJW 3845): 0.24" (0.6 mm) thick acetac 3/8" (9.5 mm) wide x 3/8" (9.5 mm) high and 4.5" (114.3 mm) long.
NOTE: Masonry Technology, Inc. recommends the installation of drip plate under all flashing over all steel lintels and shelf angles.

Head Joint Weeps™ for steel lintels and shelf angles work because they create tunnels/channels into the cavity of masonry walls at the lowest point of the cavity at the top surface of the flashing that covers the steel lintel and shelf angle.
- They create weep tunnels at lowest point of cavity.
